Cabbage and Tofu Wontons
Ingredients - Makes 25
- 2 cups green cabbage, shredded
- 1 cup tofu, finely chopped
- 1 small red chilli, finely chopped, optional
- 1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
- 25 wonton wrappers
Steps
- Mix the ginger, cabbage, tofu and red chilli together in a small bowl
- On each wonton wrapper, place a small amount of the filling in the centre
- Run a wet finger along all the edges of the square wonton wrapper
- Fold to make a triangle and seal well. You can use them like this or fold the bottom two corners of the triangle over each other and make a pocket
- Deep fry in hot oil, or steam them and serve hot with soy sauce
- You can also simmer them in a thin soup until cooked and serve
