Etli Taze Fasulye
Ingredients - Serves 4-6
- 250 g green beans or french beans, cut into 1" lengths
- 1 medium-sized (or 200 g) onion, chopped
- 2 large (or 400 g) tomatoes, chopped
- ⅓ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 4 tbsp tomato puree, optional
- 1 tsp pul biber or red chilli flakes, optional
- ground black pepper
- Salt, to taste
Steps
- Heat the oil in a saucepan. Fry onions till they are soft and translucent
- Add the tomatoes and tomato puree and cook till soft
- Add the green beans, pul biber (red chilli flakes), salt and black pepper. Mix well, cover and cook till the beans are soft
- Serve with {Domatesli Pirinc Pilavi} or any similar pilaf
