Haloumi Wrap With Yoghurt-Garlic Sauce
Ingredients - Serves 3
- 250 g haloumi cheese, cut into strips
- ¼ cup green capsicum (green bell pepper), sliced
- ¼ cup onion, sliced
- ¼ cup tomato, sliced, remove pulp and seeds
- ½ a lemon
- ½ tsp red chilli flakes
- ½ cup lettuce or green or red cabbage, shredded
- ¼ cup carrots, grated
- 3 plain or wholewheat wraps
- For the sauce
- 4 tbsp yoghurt, whisked till smooth
- 1 tsp garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- Salt
Steps
- To make the sauce
- Mix all ingredients with water added as required
- To make the wraps
- Drizzle the haloumi strips with lemon juice, sprinkle with red chilli flakes and grill on all sides until slightly charred
- Spread a little sauce on each wrap, place the salad veggies off centre to one side and place a few haloumi strips on top. Drizzle more sauce and roll up the wraps, seal one end and serve
